Tosa Washi traditional techniques

``Wakashi pattern'' is a traditional Tosa washi technique in which a pattern is placed on a plain paper and then made into two layers.
Because it takes time to manufacture, it has now become a rare product that only a few companies in Kochi Prefecture can manufacture.

The high-quality texture of the watermark pattern, which is different from printing, and the soft and supple paper quality made from 100% carefully selected top-quality pulp create high water absorption and ease of use.
We also have a track record of novelty products. Please feel free to contact us.

The birth of toilet roll.

The watermark pattern was drawn by a kimono shop in Kyoto around 1964.

Toilet paper with this design was used in the pavilion at the 1970 Osaka World's Fair.
It has been well received by overseas customers, and there are anecdotes that spare parts were often stolen.

We are a pioneer who created character tissues for the first time in Japan in 1963.
